Disneyland Park Paris

Hello everyone, I am Trupti Chilatre from The Traveller's Affair. I love travelling around the world, learning different culture, traditions, art and of-course having fun and adventure.

This blog will help you in exploring the Disneyland Park in the best possible way. I visited there in July 2017 and those were the best days of my life.
Disneyland Paris has two parks, seven hotels and a lot of attractions. Whether you are a group of bachelors, couples or a happy family with kids, this is a place which you must visit at least once in your lifetime. Here, I am going to share my own experience and views which might help you in planning your own visit to the Europe's (or I should say the World's) most beautiful and fun place.

Wow! Awesome! Beautiful!
Yes that's what your inner voice says as soon as you enter the world of Disneyland. It's a place where even a 70 year old person will feel like a 10 year old child (Well yeah! I am only 27 not 80 ðŸ˜‰).
It is the most happiest and magical place in the world's most romantic city!! You can never stop smiling when you are in Disneyland Park and the Disney music in the background won't even let you to stop smiling.

Whenever you visit Paris make sure to visit Disneyland too because it's always worth it and easy. You can take a 30 minute train ride from outer Paris and reach the most magical place.

How many days?

Not to visit Disneyland when you are in Paris or on a trip to Europe is definitely unquestionable. But how many days should one plan for Disneyland is relative to how big fan you are of Disney. I would recommend to of planning of 2 days or 3 days stay in Disneyland resort and enjoy the ambiance and beautiful picturesque view of the castle and other attractions in day and in night.

Disneyland Park
Once you enter the Disneyland Park make sure to grab one map and program sheets which are usually kept after the Disneyland security check pass. This map will help you a lot while walking around the park and the program sheet will help you in knowing the schedule of various events around the park.

There are five lands in the Disneyland Park:
1. Main Street U.S.A
2. Frontierland
3. Adventureland
4. Fantasyland
5. Discoveryland

Main Street U.S.A is at the entrance of the Park. Where you will find some shops to buy some Disney stuff like a mug painted in Disney characters, toys, mickey ears etc. Also, you will find some amazing food stalls to fill in your stomach before you start your journey in the Park(Trust me! you really need to have some snacks and energy drinks because the park is very big and you might get tired!)

After you pass the Main Street U.S.A you can see the pink castle from the distance. I loved this castle and surely you will love it too because this is the heart of this park. Click some pictures here and then you have two options, either you can start from the Frontierland and go clockwise or start from the Discoveryland and go anticlockwise. This will help you in covering most of the rides and attractions in the park.

You can also meet various Disney characters around the Disney Park like Donald Duck, Chipmunk or the king of cartoon Mickey Mouse itself. I just love Mickey Mouse since my childhood and I had to wait for around 30 minutes to meet him :( Well, you can refer the map to find the spots where you can meet these Disney characters.

The Rides
Ahhh!! And how can I forget to mention the rides! Disneyland Park gives you n number of rides and they are super-awesome. I loved the breathtaking Hyperspace Mountain ride in Discoveryland and Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland.

Tip
: If you are here during summer vacations and that too on a weekend you will find a very long queue in each and every single ride. One way to pass these queues is to get a FastPass. You can get these FastPasses at the entrance of every ride. These FastPasses have a time mentioned on them, so that you won't need to wait in long queues, instead you can come directly at the time mentioned and have a pleasure of ride.
Also, note that one person can get only one FastPass at a time. To be eligible to get get another FastPass you will need to wait for some more time (You can check this at the entrance of other rides).

The Disneyland Parade
This is something that one should not miss even by mistake. The Disney characters come alive and perform. The parade starts from the gates of the Fantasyland at 5:30 pm (check the program for the latest parade time) and ends in the Main Street U.S.A. I wanted to stand in the front row, so I grabbed a seat half an hour before the parade started. Like you, every single person in Disneyland Park is equally excited to see the parade. And to have clearer view even you should try to grab a seat at least 30-45 minutes before the start of the parade.
(Also, when you are tired walking around the whole day it is really relaxing to sit for 30 min and recollect some energy for the day left ðŸ˜‰ ).

The Attractions

Pirates of the Caribbean in the Adventureland, Alice’s Curious Labyrinth in the Fantasyland, Thunder Mesa Riverboat in Frontierland and Les Mystères du Nautilus in the Discoveryland are the must see.

Food
There are several food stalls throughout the Park which serve you various variety of food ranging from burgers to fried fish, ice creams to cola etc. You can also plan to bring in some snacks with you like wafers and some energy drinks or juices. It is always advisable to have some prepacked food and a good amount of water with you if you are here with your kids.

You can find all the information you need about Disneyland Paris including ticket sales on their website.

I hope this blog helps you in planning your trip to Disneyland Paris. Please leave your comment and suggestions below.

Capri, a beautiful island on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Once Emperor Augustus' Private resort and now a lovely vacation spot for the tourist. If you are in Italy then you must definitely visit this island, for a relaxing and amazing experience. I was here for about 2 days and loved every single moment of it. I wish I would have spent a little more time, anyways this place has given me a lot of reasons to visit again. How to get there? Capri can be reached by number of ports around the island. You can catch a ferry from Naples, Sorrento and Positano. We caught slow ferry from Naples, which took us almost 1 hr 20 min to reach Capri and costed around €17. You can also catch high speed ferries which takes 50 min from Naples to Capri and costs a little extra. What to see in Capri? 10 Best Travelling Tips

You cannot plan each and everything and even if you do, there are always chances that some things may change at the end moment either intentionally or unintentionally. These travel tips are not a must follow tips but before you are planning a trip either a solo trip, family trip or just a “TRAVELLER” traveler trip, you can go through these points once, so that the chances of missing out are few. 1.     Passport and Important Documents Whenever you are travelling to a foreign land, always carry your passport and Visa with you.
