Rome - the city of History

Rome is one of the most traveled cities in Europe. Just grab a Gelato in your hand and be ready to explore the city. Rome - the empire of Augustus has nearly everything to offer you on your visit to this city. Ranging from the world famous Gelato to Pizza, from Colosseum to Vatican City, from the amazing local streets to Metro. One thing I love most about this place is, it is full of art and architecture. On almost every corner of street you will find a bunch of artists expressing their heart in form of their paintings. Street performers, just make your day by playing music, performing magic etc. You won't be able to stop yourself from dancing on the rhythm of these performers. I sometimes feel, art is in the veins of Italian people and Rome is a spectacular example of this. What to expect in Rome? Currency : Euro (Always carry some cash with you because cards are not acceptable at all places) Transport : There are many public transport (Buses, Met...

Capri - An island in Italy

Capri, a beautiful island on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Once Emperor Augustus' Private resort and now a lovely vacation spot for the tourist. If you are in Italy then you must definitely visit this island, for a relaxing and amazing experience. I was here for about 2 days and loved every single moment of it. I wish I would have spent a little more time, anyways this place has given me a lot of reasons to visit again. How to get there? Capri can be reached by number of ports around the island. You can catch a ferry from Naples, Sorrento and Positano. We caught slow ferry from Naples, which took us almost 1 hr 20 min to reach Capri and costed around €17. You can also catch high speed ferries which takes 50 min from Naples to Capri and costs a little extra. What to see in Capri? Being a little pretty island, Capri has a lot to offer you than you can ever imagine.  Blue Grotto A trip to Capri is always incomplete, if you have not visited Blue Grotto....
